Trials:
Depending on the Rank of entity summoned, you may need to adjust the difficulty of the Trial to match. The Major Trial is intended for Entities of Rank 3 and above and the Minor Trials are designed to be for Rank 1 and 2 entities.

The Major Trial is derived from the Primary Arcanum, while the two Minor Trials are derived from the Primary and Secondary Arcanum respectively. You can pick whichever you feel is most appropriate, or apply multiple to be completed in tandem.

Appearance:
You may need to get creative with some of the Appearance/Aspect combinations - or just ignore the Aspect entirely. Similarly the boons given are just suggestions - characters usually have a specific boon in mind anyways when they summon something so just ignore what you don’t like. Half of them came from Signs of Sorcery (slightly abbreviated), the others are homebrew.

Boon:
At the Storyteller’s discretion, the Boon can take effect immediately upon completion of the Trial, or you can rule that the Entity needs to be summoned again for it to be granted (which is what the book recommends).

Name:
If you learn an entity’s name, the next time you attempt a summoning and invoke their name, they are guaranteed to be the Entity that shows up.
